Cheer Information

American Youth Cheer, governed on safety, sportsmanship and full participation offers membership to all cheer, dance and step teams associated with an American Youth Football team.

 

I. The Cheer Divisions are as follows:

 

Division 8 - Participants are 5 years old, but have not yet turned 9 years old by July 31, 2017

Division 10- Participants are 7 years old, but have not yet turned 11 years old by July 31, 2018.

Division 12- Participants are 9 years old, but have not yet turned 13 years old by July 31, 2018.    

Competition Team - There are no tryouts but space is limited. Please contact Andrea Leland if you are interested. Participants register as normal and must cheer for both games and competition.  One registration fee covers both.  Please contact for more information: Andrea Leland - drealeland02@yahoo.com

 

Rumson-Fair Haven Youth cheer reserves the right to move cheerleaders to a different team based on numbers and coach availability.

 

 

 

Assistant coaches and high school cheer demos needed. 

 

II.Registration:

  • Upon registration, LOG ON THEN, download and complete the following forms. They are due to your head coach by July 1st in the following order.  Please contact your head coach to arrange delivery. 

DO NOT PRINT FORMS FROM DOWNLOADABLE FORMS & FILES ON HOME PAGE.

Log on, then next to your child's name click "Print Forms", then click Player AYF Package.  Turn in:

  1. Participant Tracker ID with photo attached
  2. Emergency Consent 
  3. Medical Release (signed by a doctor anytime in 2017)
  4. Birth Certificate
  5. Report Card
  6. Image Release
  7. Waiver & Release of Liability

III. Practice - Required attire is black shorts/leggings and a purple t-shirt
